Will Tuttle spent seven years studying in a Korean Zen monastery which has retained a strict vegan tradition for hundreds of years. He clarifies the essence of opposition against veganism as purely ignorant acculturation. The link between predatory behavior (aggression) and predation (non-vegan diets) is clear to anyone willing to be open-minded enough to honestly see it. This book makes it easier for vegans to put the attacks against their choice into spiritual context, and a lot harder for not-yet-vegans to dismiss the call to compassion.

Will Tuttle speaks about important issues and makes the connection between our food choices and peace. A very unique and interesting perspective which brings world transformation issues to light. He also provides ways in which people can make good choices for themselves, the planet and the animals. A courageous voice in the publishing world.
