About the Author
Olivier Lecarme is a Professor Emeritus in Computer Science at the University of Nice, France. He holds a doctorate and a "These D'Etat" in Computer Science. He has also been a professor at the universities of Grenoble, Montreal, and Lausanne. He has taught many aspects of computer science, including graphics processing, algorithms, data structures, compiling, and programming language fundamentals.
Karine Delvare has been a member of the GIMP core development team since 2004. She is a freelance Web designer and holds a master's degree in Computer Science, with a specialization in image and sound.
