This book clarifies why people gain back weight after dieting and how one can keep the weight off or at least, blunt the desire to eat it all back. That, along with some techniques I found helpful (eg. exercise early before eating breakfast) made this a worthwhile read for me.
The primary lesson for me is to move some every day for overall good health---anything is better than nothing---but more is better for weight loss.
