This book successfully combines instruction with entertainment to produce a spinning guide that is easy to use. Abby's friendly style of writing, personal anecdotes and photos of many beautiful hand spindles is sure to whet a novice's appetite. Also included are instructions on how to make simple homemade spindles, proving that you don't have to spend a lot of money to start spinning.

Great book for beginners and those who are interested but unsure where to start. Even experienced spindlers will pick up handy tips on improving their technique and their finished product.
