About the author

Jack Heffron is the author of a number of books and has ghostwritten several others. He worked in publishing for many years as an editor and has edited hundreds of books. He has taught at the University of Alabama and currently teaches in the journalism program at the University of Cincinnati. His writing has won numerous awards and appeared in magazines and literary journals. He was a founding editor of Story magazine, which twice won the National Magazine Award. He is currently a regular contributor to several print and online publications, and he works in advertising. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
