Absolutely loved this book! My first book of this type and i enjoyed it. Hall uses type to create a feeling and/or set a mood. Type gets big, gets small, gets put at different parts of the page, so interesting. Hall also completly challenges you with his reality, and his ambiguous ending; i was left there asking my self what i had just experienced and had it really happened the way i thought it did. Quite marvelous.

The Raw Shark Texts is a poetic work of literature that explores Big things like philosophy, psychology, memory and perception, except that it reads like a Steven King thriller. Steven Hall has crafted an extremely original and well-written novel that will make your brain sweat long after you've finished it.

It's a good thing I started this book on a weekend and didn't have to be up early the next morning. I was up late, playing the "one more chapter and then I'll go to sleep... oh, ok, *one* more chapter" game. The Raw Shark Texts is a compelling thriller and Steven Hall has created a marvelous world in which to tell it. This book is a delightful read and one heck of a page-turner.
