I am reviewing this book without having read it!!I am fascinated by fans, their diversity, beauty and history. One could call it a bit of an obsession, I suspect. This book appeals to me because it provides details of 200 fans collected in Russia. The illustrations look superb. I have a similar book of Queen Elizabeth's collection in Buckingham Palace. Tcherviakov book will help me to understand the provenance of fans that I buy for my slowly growing collection
