Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

From a 1959 conversation with Alan Watts to a 1995 deathbed chat with Timothy Leafy, Impolite Interviews collects 20 of Paul Krassner's most candid, fractious, and revealing interviews, all of which originally ran in his notorious satirical magazine The Realist.

About the Author

Paul Krassner is the only person to win awards from both *Playboy* (for satire) and the Feminist Party Media Workshop (for journalism), to be inducted into the Counterculture Hall of Fame at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam, to receive an ACLU Uppie (Upton Sinclair) Award for dedication to freedom of expression, and to be described by the FBI as "a raving, unconfined nut."

The usual inciseveness, to-the-point, no holds barred interviews and writing that made Karassner and his Realist magazine a must read for anyone with an open mind.
