About the Author

Jay Ryan was born in St. Louis in 1972, and has lived within 150 miles of Chicago since 1974. He has spent a great deal of time doing a number of different things, but isn't remarkably good at any of them. Jay plays bass guitar in a rock band called Dianogah, which has played shows in Chile, Iceland, Sicily, and Baltimore. Jay lives in Chicago with his wife, Diana Sudyka, as well as Seth the greyhound and two charismatic cats.
