About the Author

Lucy Leu is the former board president of the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) and editor of Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life. Currently she heads the Freedom Project, which brings Nonviolent Communication (NVC) training to prison inmates to facilitate their reintegration into society. She lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington.
