One of those books where I was jumping out of my seat going "yes, yes!" and folding down the corners of every page. A short but imperative read for creatives.

The most important "discretionary" projects in our lives share common traits among pioneers. One of them is the magnet that glues our butts to the chair while we wish we could get started. Many books on time management, planning, and organizing are valuable when you get started. What Pressfield does for us is to throw a cold pitcher of water in our face to ask, "are you going to sit on your butt or are you going to engage in a 'life worth living?'" His vehicle of describing "Resistance" as an entity that dogs all our trails is effective. Buy he book. Read the book. And let's hear those feet hit the floor.
