Mindy Nettifee's work has already changed my life, as it has yours if you've read or listened to her. She illuminates our existence and our reaction to it with wit and intelligence and moxie and courage and, and, and power that roars and intimacy that flutters. But reading and hearing is only part of the story. I'm a writer and a poet so I am always curious about what makes my favorite writers write. What inspires them, stops them in their tracks, do they have a method, how do they maintain a practice? Is it more like putting out a fire or starting one? But I still want to read an interesting book. I needed a manifesto, not a how-to. And this, as they say, is that.
It is powerful stuff. It will rumble in your hands.
