Anyone setting off to explore the land of the Greeks will be very happy with what they find there. In a country that gave birth to Homer, Sophocles, and Plato it goes without saying that its wealth of cultural treasures and Mediterranean atmosphere go hand in hand with a passion for good food. This book takes a symposia of classical Greece, discovering the refinements of the haute cuisine available in major cities, and sampling the simpler fare of fishermen, farmers, and shepherds.

Comprising 460 pages and featuring 1300 illustrations, Culinaria Greece takes you behind the scenes and will delight anyone who loves this country, it culture, and Greek cuisine. The many authentic recipes contained in this book guarantee that it will prove to be an equally pleasurable experience for the palate.

Having lived in both Greece and Cyprus, this book was a great trip down memory lane as I remembered wonderful foods and memorable meals with friends. I was delighted to stumble upon Culinaria Greece and love exploring the photos and drooling over the recipes!
