Second edition. Rebound in uniform modern burgundy cloth, spines gilt. The gilt device from the original front board has been laid in. New endpapers for both volumes. Frontispiece in each volume.
Volume 1 with an early signature detached. Volume 2 with extensive (inactive) mildew staining to the first 8 leaves; half title page with a small open tear and a larger (3cm) closed tear. Fair condition.
