First edition, the personal copy of falconry authority and author Gerald William Lascelles with his bookplate on the front paste down. Publisher's dark purple cloth panelled in blind, spine stamped in gilt. Four engraved plates, including the frontispiece.
Boards and joints rubbed. Corners and spine ends bumped and worn. Spine a bit cocked. Dampstaining all four plates. Title page thumbed. Good condition.
