About the Author

Cindy Bauer was born in Davenport, Iowa. During her childhood, she was an avid reader of mysteries, and she dreamed of becoming a writer. Marriage, career changes and relocation filled her time, and she left her dream behind.

After gaining employment with a small town newspaper in 2003, her dream resurfaced. With encouragement from both her husband and sister, Cindy began writing Chasing Memories, the first in a trilogy, with publication of Shades of Blue expected in 2006.
