This is a #1 hit and everyone should own a copy. The diversity of listings is what makes this book so extraordinary. It doesn't get caught up in one area, and generally only selects journeys that people of any age could enjoy. There's not a single rotten apple in the 500. The page design is simple, so the reader is not overwhelmed. You get just enough information that leads you to do more research. I've probably thumbed through every travel book released in the last 15 years and this is the best publication by anyone since National Geographic's 50 Trips of a Lifetime magazine. I have been on over 100 of the journeys in the book. I can't wait to register the next two or three this fall. Buy this for friends, family, and expecially for students graduating high school or college. This is a book that they can keep a lifetime.
