This is a very comprehensive once-over guide to the Portland metro area, the Gorge, the Coast, etc. It's full of lesser-known tidbits that even natives weren't sure of - like how to get to John Yeon park in the Gorge, where to park to hike in Forest Park, what to do on Sauvie Island, and surprisingly current restaurant and food listings.

Also covers Oregon history. Easy to read and a great value!
