Synopsis:

Traces the roots of the Italian Pagan tradition through the ages, confronted by Christianity, revived in the 14th century by the Holy Strega and passed on as the legend of Aradia. Readers will learn the gospel of Aradia and the powerful practice of "casting shadows", an ancient tradition.

Synopsis:

AWAKEN TO THE OLD WAYS

The legacy of Italian Witchcraft, handed down for generations, is now yours. Author Raven Grimassi reclaims the Pagan spirituality of southern Europe and traces its roots from the pre-Christian era to the fourteenth-century Holy Strega and the modern Legend of Aradia. Italian Witchcraft imparts knowledge once known only to secret initiates and gives you a solid introduction to Strega traditions. You will learn how to:

-- cast and break spells

-- create a Spirit Flame

-- invoke the power of a Watcher

-- cast shadows

-- make Stregherian magickal tools

-- perform beautiful Aridian marriage, birth, and death rites

-- make offerings to Diana and the Full Moon

-- cleanse and repair the aura

-- tap into lunar energy by Drawing Down the Moon

If you're an aspiring Witch or Magician, Italian Witchcraft offers you a complete magickal and folkloric tradition. If you're an experienced practitioner, you can use the not-widely-known magick in Italian Wichcraft to enhance your rituals. The Ways of the Strega had a profound influence upon the works of Aleister Crowley and Gerald Gardner — they will influence you, too.

Come, be part of an ancient tradition.

Synopsis:

Discover the rich legacy of magick and ritual handed down by Italian witches through the generations. Trace the roots of the Italian Pagan tradition as it survives the coming of Christianity. Italian Witchcraft also gives you the practical how-tos of modern Strega traditions, including making tools, casting and breaking spells, seasonal and community rites, and much more.

You really have to be uneducated not to see through all the bull that is put forth as scholarship in this book......Nothing but a bunch of modern created mythos strewn together to imitate an ancient tradition. Don't waist your money!
