Lacking portrait. With the "Avertissement" against Philippe Peu's "La Pratique des Accouchemens." Contains the colophon of Jean Anisson. Bound with "Observations Particulieres." Francois Mauriceau (1637-1709) was a leading authority in obstetrics.
