Reproductions of drawings for costumes designed for the court of Louis XIV taken from the National Library and the Albertina in Vienna. Lacking the text and plate descriptions. Housed in the original portfolio. Timballiers Romains Plate V with a small stain to the middle of the scene. All other plates bright & clean. Portfolio is in poor condition. Highlighted in gold & silver the plates provide a rare glimpse into the world of Louis XIV's court & high pageantry. DW/hr
