This indeed is a masterpiece.....
the author compelled me to think in a way...i wouldnt have even dared to think...the book taught me to confront and fight my own demons...while reading the book i realised, that i was in the same plight as Maria...lonely and innocent...being an indian girl...i always used to think that talking about sex is a crime...but after reading the book i realised that we need to know few things regarding the subject to avoid any sort of misconceptions...the book helped me to overcome the myths i possessed regarding sex...
oh yes!!! one important thing i learnt from the book was...not to pretend that i know a lot, and now if i dont know about something...i simply, without feeling a bit embarrassed, ask people to satisfy my queries...i dont care what people may think about me...but i experience a feeling of satisfaction that i had the courage of being who i am...atleast i was being honest to myself...and on top of that people seemed to admire my honesty...i have never in my life been touched by any story or novel like that...it made me feel Maria's pain,her agony, i lived each and every moment of this great work of Mr. Paulo Coelho...(he is an author beyond comparision...well he sets his own standards).
friend, i would advise each one of you, especially who are in search for true and pure love,and sex being just a part of it,(and more of spirituality),please read this splendid book...
this book will help you find your "inner light"...as it helped me finding mine.....

There's no enough words that can describe Paulo coelho's writing.. Its just amazin..and this book its surely the best i ever read..He is certainly a proud to my country - Brazil:)

It is the best story which I read till now. I couldn't stop myself till I finished. But girls don't want to discuss about this book. They say that author is arroagant and doesn't understand the feelings of women.
