Krishnamurti was one of the brightest lights of the 20th Century. One thing he recommended was that we should die to each day. In the mornings, awakening anew, I read the selection in the Book of LIfe for that day, and if I am not carrying over stuff from yesterday, I am able to allow what he says to enter me deeply, and it often stirs something within and there are glimpses of understanding that occur, what I call "every day moments of liberation". It is not what he says but the real interaction within that takes place as a result of really listening to the topic of the day, not intellectually, but completely, and then something may happen. I have been doing this for years now, and it never seems repetitive because I am listening/reading anew. It is a wonderful start to my days!
