    About the Author

    >Neil Schachter, M.D., is professor of pulmonary medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and director of the Mount Sinai COPD Program. He has served as president of the American Lung Association of New York and has published 400 articles and six books. He and his wife live in New York City.
