About the Author

Batya Gur (1947-2005) lived in Jerusalem, where she was a literary critic for Ha'aretz, Israel's most prestigious paper. She earned her M.A. in Hebrew literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and taught literature for nearly twenty years. She wrote five other Michael Ohayon mysteries: Murder Duet, The Saturday Morning Murder, A Literary Murder, Murder on a Kibbutz,and Bethlehem Road Murder.
