At first I was skeptical about reading another paranormal romance series but once I started reading I couldn't put the book down and found myself finishing it within a day! I'm now hooked on the Dark-Hunter series and can't wait to read more. Fantasy Lover is a must read.

Fantasy Lover is the first book in the must-read Dark-Hunter series. It is very well written. It can't be easy, being a slave (even if it is a love-slave). You feel the character's emotions, and wish to help him out. Once read, you will immediately start looking for the next book in the series. Sherrilyn Kenyon is an excellent author. Highly recommended.

I just finished reading the book last night and found it to be a really great read. What surprised me was the love story that unraveled through the book. What I call "unconditional love" and with such emotion. The female character was someone a normal woman could relate to. She was not one of the runway model types that seem to be more of a fantasy to most of us than a fantasy lover could be. It had me crying at the end wondering if it would end the way I wanted or if it would break my heart. My heart soared.
