Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

In this hilarious touch-and-feel book, a cranky duck dares children to tickle his soft stomach, his hairy armpit, his rubbery foot, and reacts uproariously each time. Despite his protests, does the duck really like being tickled after all? This modern day version of Pat the Bunny will have its audience laughing, and maybe even snorting, "Do it again!" Like Ten Little Lady Bugs and Tails, this treasure of interactive fun is sure to engage parents and children for hours of tickling and giggling.

Synopsis:

Embark on a reading adventure with the adorable and imaginative Clara and Clem!

When Clara and Clem build a car out of blocks, they have no idea where it will take them. But with a little imagination, the two take the trip of a lifetime down winding roads, up tall mountains, and across the sky. This Level 1 reader is beautifully simple and sweet--and available in both hardcover and paperback!

This book was ADORABLE! My 1 year old daughter found it very amusing when we heard it during storytime at our local library. I can't wait to read it to her at home. I think she will want to hear it over and over again!

This book is adorable! The humor is a-typical (the duck suggests you tickle his hairy armpit at one point) and the story is simple but humorous. Everyone will be laughing (and tickling) by the time the book is done. We will enjoy this book a lot!

This interactive book is a good laugh for both kids and adults. You'll have fun reading this to toddlers. I purchased two as gifts and they were well received. I really like Ethan Long's humour and playfulness. It's such a gem that I got two more: one as a gift and one to keep.
