Publisher Comments:

As clever as it is heartbreaking, this comic masterpiece--now in paperback--tells the story of a marriage that is not, after all, exactly like anyone else's. Or is it?

Mayhem and thoughts of murder are intriguing, but entertaining? Amusing? Jane Shapiro artfully weaves a story of a mid-life marriage that keeps the reader guessing, written in a witty style with more clever dialogue and vocabulary than I?ve read in several weeks worth of novels, right down to the final sentence.
