I highly recommend the Shannara series! The first three books had me so enthralled I had to keep going! Terry Brooks is brilliant!

Every trilogy has a climax. It seems that Brooks made his best work of all with this book. We follow the adventure in two fronts. In one, the elves fight against an old and powerful enemy from the old World of Faery, the Demons. The strugle is intense and heroes appear in every page. The battle to protect the westland rages on and the people of many races join to stand together against the menace, for the first time in history.
On the other side, the Chosen One travels on a perilous quest to revive the only hope the people of the Four Lands have to survive, the seed of the Ellcrys Tree. Accompanied by the heir of the Shannara legacy as a protector, she most find the source if all life, in the most savage and forbidden place in the world, there lies the Safehold.
The books is fast and the action is not stopping. Best book in the origininal Shannara series.
