Michael Crichton was born in Chicago, in 1942. His novels include The Andromeda Strain, The Great Train Robbery, Congo, Jurassic Park, Rising Sun, Disclosure, The Lost World, and Airframe. He is also the creator of the television series ER.

I have always been a loyal fan of Science Fiction. Just about any Technology that can be named owes much of it' origin to those who think about the possibilities which leap far beyond the known boundaries of what is. I believe Michael Crichton is one of the Masters, one who helps to shape our future and provide food for thought to our engineers and scientists. I would put his works on the caliper of the great minds of Gene Roddenberry, Irwin Allen, Issic Azamov, Orson Wells, Joseph Stefono, Rod Serling among others. Time Travel has always intrigued me. I believe that if we can conceive of it, it can be done. I believe that their are countless dimensional time lines, coexisting in our plane of reality. Which also leads me to believe that their are countless others that exist outside of that. It is just a matter of time before we will begging to explore that brave new and uncharted horizon among alternate existences. Science Fiction certainly drives my creative muse to produce products that did not exist before, such as my "Self Flushing Toilet", but I digress. I do hold Patent # 60/60-605,075 at PTP. on the Automated Commode Fixture.

Very good time travel story, with all Michael Crichton hallmarks. Descriptions of time machines especially interesting.
