I have such fond memories of this book. I have purchased it as a gift for the 13-year-old daughter of a friend for Christmas. When I was 12 our teacher would each day, just after lunch, read us an excerpt from Mrs. Mike. We always looked forward to the story and what was going to happen next. I am now 62, and the teacher is now 84. I see her often in the town in which we both live. And we have mentioned this book to each other. She has said that many of the students from those days have mentioned the book to her through the years and how much they had enjoyed it. I was so glad to see a few years ago that it had been re-published.

Thank you.
