I first read this book in 1981 while in labor with my
first child and FINISHED IT in the hospital after he was
born! I am not sure if it is going to be "as good" in 2009, but since I am a "nut" about shipwrecks - especially the Titanic! - I promised myself then that I
would buy it some day, and managed to procrastinate until
now. I found it to be engrossing then - Will see if that
is still the case.
