First off, this was so much better than her Mageverse series so I'm thinking Knight is at her best when writing futuristic stories.

I haven't read Jane's Warlord, which I understand is a prequel of sorts to this series, so I came into this blind. Warrior stands alone beautifully, but it leaves you wanting more of this world. In fact, Warlord, which includes Jane's Warlord and Warfem, is on my to buy list!

Fabulous world-building! The societies and culture of both the good guys and the bad are well-created, with just enough detail. She didn't depend on any one device too much.

Great characterization including the secondary ones were described in detail without breaking stride. Jessica and Galar fell for each other hard, but I could see why so it was believable.

My big disappoint was the moment the spy was revealed. The first time you get inside the traitor's head, there's no indication of who he was. I anticipated being strung along for a while, kept guessing, but that tension wasn't to be. If the author makes a point of not telling me the first time, I expect to find out in the heat of the moment.

I think this has to be one of the best organized books I've read in a long time. I can't wait to read Guardian which is next up in this series -- a trilogy.

-- Just a heads up, Angela Knight pushes the limited of everyday romance. So if you don't like blistering hot sex, and lots of it, then you should give this author a pass.

Simply fabulous! In "Warrior: The Time Hunters", Angela Knight has returned to the world of "Jane's Warlord" and "Warfem" to bring us a smoking hot rocking good time of a read that takes place 200+ years in our future. Time travel is commonplace, but the Temporal Enforcers use time travel to try and prevent needless deaths.

Jessica is an artist. She spends her time and energy working on her paintings and scrabbling to make ends meet and keep herself in art supplies. When she's awakened by a monster with a knife at her throat asking about her roommate, she's terrified but determined which earns her a knife in the stomach. Suddenly her house is filled with huge people talking in a language she doesn't understand and fighting to the death. Now she's awake, healed, and apparently jumped into the future never to return to her time. And she's changing, developing strange powers she doesn't understand or know how to use. And then there's the hunky eforcer assigned to protect her. He's really hot, really misunderstood, and really getting to her...and she appears to be getting to him too!

Knight's new series is bound to be a big hit. I couldn't put this book down and devoured it in one sitting. My only complaint is there's not yet a release date for book 2!
