I am ordering this book today for my son, whose first child will be born this month. I treasured this book when his older sister was an infant as it helped me recognize the differences between all the children around me. That allowed me to relax and let my babies be themselves, as much as any parent is able. I look forward to sharing Dr. Brazelton's insights with the parents of my grandchild and I recommend this book to all new parents (and grandparents, too!).

This is a wonderful book for new parents! It addresses the fact that babies have different temperaments, and offers ways for parents to deal with each type of personality. Dr. Brazelton is still worth a read.

This is a great book for new parents and parents of new babies alike. Even though it is older, Brazelton's discussion of infant temperments is insightful. A great book for learning the best ways to deal with your child.
