Publisher Comments:

In the far future, humanity has divided into two diametrically opposed groups. The Edenists are genetically engineered space-dwellers with telepathic affinity for their biotechnological homes and ships. The Adamists, effectively the Luddites of the future, are willing to pioneer new worlds, much as their ancestors did hundreds of years ago. The two groups, peopled by fascinating characters, clash on a primitive world called Lalonde, setting in motion a tale of adventure unparalleled in this universe.

The first volume of a huge six volume science fiction series. A massive work that ranges through an enormous spectrum of characters. Not just a collection of technological forecasts of the future, although those are here and wondrous indeed. But a cast of real people that you become involved with. This is in truth a science fiction novel in all the best senses of the word. A brief plot outline would run to several pages. If you ever loved science fiction, you have to read these books.

You start out following a few key characters as they break out into their space faring career's you then meet a diverse list of other characters struggling to survive in a universe of numerous human cultures, colonies, worlds, and space stations. Each with their own agenda who are suddenly confronted with a shocking and nightmarish invasion.
This series is unique and is definately NOT a sad clone of other sci-fi works and is truly worth reading.

>>>>read no further if you don't want too many spoilers<<<<

Basically millions of tortured, desperate, imprisoned, and evil souls are let loose upon the universe from where all evil human souls have been being trapped in an afterlife of pure thought which has been trapping them within the own confines of their own negative energy which prevented them from passing into the afterlife in a positive healthy energy form of existence. Of course evil souls would seek to harm each other in their imprisonment so this afterlife has NOT been a happy time for all the souls and when they escape they want to hurt people and free the other bad souls from torment by helping them possess a living body..... combine this with a colonized iniverse with TRILLIONS of humans and several hundred Worlds with many thousands of space colonies.... it's chaos across the universe as the threat expands, is identified, and is resisted......

This Series is very addictive and you will find yourself eagerly page turning into the next book. This Epic story has everything that a Sci-Fi fan is looking for, and more. I would put it in my top 3 of all time best Space Sci-fi because it's really that Good.
