New Line Cinema is developing a screenplay from the novel.

Taylor McAden is a volunteer fireman who is always the first to plunge into danger. But there is one risk he can't bring himself to take: falling in love. Then he meets Denise Holden, a single mother who has moved to the small town of Edenton, North Carolina, to build a new life. A near fatal car crash will bring these two together, but before that can happen, Taylor must look into his past and see if it's not too late to take a chance on the future.

Nicholas Sparks has truly mastered the art of writing a touching, passionate love story that just can't be captured in the movies. The story of Noah's determination to bring back his wife's love even if for only a few moments is unbelievably moving. He captured the essence and pain of this disease in a way that moved me to tears. The love in this book is a true work of art. He continues to amaze me with his passionate words, and The Notebook is no exception.

I have never had a book move me like this book did. It is one of this greastest love stories ever written.
All about unconditional love and devotion. His characters are so vivid you can see and feel them. Nicolas Sparks
is a master at bringing out a persons feelings.
