A twelve-year-old girl named Max and five other incredible children have powers we can only dream of. These children can fly. And the only place they will be save is the Lake House. Or so they believe...

Synopsis:

Escaping the government's horrifying experiments, the six children from "When the Wind Blows" want to return to the one place they have ever truly felt protected: the Lake House.

This is one of the first books that James Patterson wrote that features Maximum and her "siblings". I really liked this book a lot, I love Maximum and her friends. This story has a great catch and keeps you entranced as you move through the book. I couldn't put it down and every step of the way wanted to see what would happen, so therefore couldn't put the book down at all. I should say that sometimes James Patterson has an odd way of wording things, but if you can get past that then you will love this book.
