Joseph Conrad is a genius. What he has done with his characters and experience in Africa was great. Mr. Kurtz disengages himself from the world and becomes a cold, cross, harsh man. THis is something that no other author has quite accomplished such as Conrad. It is a must read fr it is a great literary experience.
