Book News Annotation:

Stahl, a Microsoft employee who created the character of the Crabby Office Lady, provides this guide based on her online column that details tips on working in an office, including dealing with people and using Microsoft Office programs. She does not explain how to use Office software, but focuses on when and why to use it. For instance, she describes e-mail taboos, software terms, office etiquette, ideas for dealing with boredom at work, running meetings, telecommuting, accessibility, and ways Office can help with these tasks. This is one book you may not find at your local bookstore but one you must have on your shelf -- at home and at work. This chick has a real insight into what it is to work for a living -- no matter what you do. Dave Barry meets Dilbert meets the scary know-it-all-but-loveable secretary.
