I enjoy all of Greg Iles books, but this one grabbed me from the first page and I read it in about 7 hours straight. It is the perfect mixture brain-wringing suspense and painful harshness. As the main character seeks to solve two some how intertwined, but completely separate cases, you find yourself right alongside her...desperate for the truth, but a little apprehensive.
It is a great read, even when you think it's all solved...it does a flip and leaves you hanging.

I enjoy this author because he surprises me. I am good at working out the mystery but he got me with this book. I have never been disappointed by any of his books.
