Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Karigan G'Ladheon was a Green Rider, one of the King of Sacoridia's magical messengers. With evil forces at large in the kingdom, can Karigan reach through the veils of time to get help from the First Rider, a woman who has been dead for 1,000 years?

Review:

Sure to join the ranks of the genre's most popular fantasy authors. Look out, Lackey and Rawn! (Jennifer Roberson)

Review:

Engaging...The scenes of magic and combat rise to a high standard. (Publishers Weekly)

Review:

Stunning...a really talented new writer. (Anne McCaffrey)

First Rider's Call is the second novel of a fantasy series about a college-age girl named Karrigan. Of the series this is the shortest book and my favorite. You get a taste of emotional drama as Karrigan's feelings are revealed more all while coping with life and death situations. This book is preceded by Green Rider which you will want to read first. I can't write too much for fear of giving the story away so you have to read the 450 or so pages yourself so you can leave a comment too. If you like Lord of the Rings, you'll like this book and it's a much easier read. 5/5 stars is my rating.
