This book gives you ideas on how to create a garden that is attractive and low-maintenance, requiring an hour or less of work per week. It is a great resource for busy people who want a pleasant outdoors area to enjoy without spending lots of time weeding, pruning, mowing, etc. There's lots of charts to help you plan your garden and choose plants that are hardy and require little or no care. The downside is that to have a self-sustaining garden requires a lot of work and expense in the beginning to establish- especially if you have to redesign most of your existing space. But it seems well worth the effort: after all that trouble you can have a garden that practically maintains itself for years on end.
