"Read to me!" is a popular request parents hear from their children.  What could be a better way to fulfill their wish than with a Bible storybook written and illustrated just for kids?  This award-winning series, a bestseller since 1982, is available in four volumes and draws from both Old and New Testament stories.  Each story is followed by simple application questions to teach children that the Bible is not just for long ago times, but for today, too.

Volume One:

The Man Who Was Too Little

The Man Who Couldn't See

The Boys and Girls and Jesus

The Wind That Obeyed

The Man Who Said, "Thank You"

I was very excited when I stumbled across this book. I have wanted to start introducing my almost-three-year-old daughter to some stories about Jesus in a concrete book format, but most Bibles for children are way beyond her level, with hundreds of words on the page. She needs a high picture-to-word ratio, which these books offer.
