Publisher Comments:

“A multi-world adventure starring a band of heroes that readers will want to join.” —Kirkus Reviews, of The Twinning Project

In this stand-alone sequel to The Twinning Project, thirteen-year-old twins Tom and Eddie, aware that their homes are at risk, have been waiting for a chance to save their planets. The sudden appearance of an alien both in Toms school lunchroom and on Eddies baseball field tells them that now is the time. The stakes are high, and sinister U.S. government agents want their piece of the pie. Can Tom and Eddie persuade the alien council to preserve their worlds, or will both troubled planets just go up in smoke? Middle grade space adventure? Check. Aliens who quote Mark Twain? Check. Suspense? Check. Blast off!

Synopsis:

Identical twins Tom and Eddie, living on different planets, regroup with friends to develop the special powers that will help them resist alien and government attempts to destroy both Earths.

Synopsis:

Maddy, Liam, and Sal were saved from certain death to become agents for TimeRiders, a group created to stop time travel from destroying the world. When a new threat appears-with evil tracing back to World War II- the TimeRiders go back in time to Nazi Germany and then forward into an ever-shifting present, to fulfill their destinies as keepers of time.

Teen and tween science fiction fans will love the three young teen main characters, the AI character, Bob, and the action packed crisis and climax in TimeRiders. Readers new to science fiction will be intrigued by the premise. The three teen heroes were all saved from imminent death. Liam snatched off the Titanic, Maddy from a crashing plane in 2010, and Sal from street violence in 2026 Mumbai. Their savior, Mr. Foster, gives them a choice and a few seconds to decide - accept their deaths or come work with his group. Somewhere far in the future, two men went back in time to stop Hitler thinking it would create a better future for the planet. Of course, it made things much, much worse - zombie wandering Walking Dead people kind of worse. So, our teen protagonists must travel through time to set events on the right course. There is a moral dilemma component to TimeRiders which will be explored in more depth in future books, I am sure. A couple of the teens question whether the goals and intentions of Mr. Foster and his group are really about preserving historical events and protecting the planet. The last third of the story is very intense and exciting. TimeRiders, of course, is the first in a series. In this case a long series, supposedly ending at #9. Everyone who likes TimeRiders will look forward to reading the rest of the series.
