"Eerdman's Dictionary of the Bible" is a fine one-volume dictionary whose almost 5,000 articles effectively cover all the names, places, and concepts found in the Bible. Professor David Noel Freedman [University of California, San Diego and General Editor of the Anchor Bible] served as editor and obtained contributions from over 500 Bible scholars to produce this up to date and comprehensive 1,474 page dictionary.
