Publisher Comments:

The Artist's Way is the seminal book on the subject of creativity. An international bestseller, millions of readers have found it to be an invaluable guide to living the artist's life. Still as vital today-or perhaps even more so-than it was when it was first published one decade ago, it is a powerfully provocative and inspiring work. In a new introduction to the book, Julia Cameron reflects upon the impact of The Artist's Way and describes the work she has done during the last decade and the new insights into the creative process that she has gained. Updated and expanded, this anniversary edition reframes The Artist's Way for a new century.

Description:

Includes bibliographical references (p. 211-212) and index.

I was in a very strange place in my life when I picked up the Artist's Way. I felt like something was missing. It was my creativity. Cameron breaks down ways to enhance your creative life no matter who you are or what you want to do. This isn't a book reserved for writers and painters. It applies to all of us. Creativity is missing from so much of our culture that it is easy to lose sight of its importance. This brilliant book brings it back into the light. Not only did I feel more creative after doing the excercises in this book, but my mind felt freer and I could think more clearly.

This is a life changing book....Julie Cameron has devoted her life to helping people develop their creativity, and she has succeeded. This book with "Morning Pages' and weekly check ins will dissolve lethargy and before you know it you will be creating rose gardens,or buying a sail boat,or flying to England, Austria, and Munich like I have. This is the single most influential book of my life.
