Publisher Comments:

PRIESTESS: WOMAN AS A SACRED CELEBRANT is a story of a woman's journey through time. It tells what happens during different eras as she attempts, life after life, to find and celebrate the sacred spirit.

Eakins asked the question, "What was the single most important event in the early Christian church that removed the goddess-oriented religious base and replaced it with a father-orientation?" The subject evolved from the history of women under Christianity to the freedom of consciousness itself.

I read this book years ago when I was first exploring the return of the divine feminine. Patricia's storyline of a woman about to be initiated into priestesshood going through a series of pastlife experiences in meditation was not only entertaining and a good read but helpful in giving a broad perspective of what it is to be a woman in sacred celebration. It is similar in some ways to Elisabeth Haich's Initiation, but chronicles multiple life experiences and brings a depth of understanding to the question: what is a priestess and what are some of the ways we function as sacred celebrants of the divine feminine? A good read.
