I absolutely love this cookbook. I have had it for many years and have made almost every recipe in it. This book is groundbreaking - it introduced the home cook to balsamic vinegar, mustard, olive oil, among other things. We take these items as standard on our pantry shelves today, but not then, when it was first published in 1982. I was just about to order my 4th copy, this one in hardback, when I discovered that Lukins and Russo are coming out with an anniversary edition. Congratulations to them both for the book that launched both of thier careers and a whole cooking culture. I can't wait to get the anniversary edition!!!!!
