I have checked out several how to write books. Many are narrowly aimed at writing in the service of healing. This doesn't have that spin, while it does draw on personal experience (not necessarily bad ones!). I was impressed because the exercises aren't gimmicky, and in fact echo some useful techniques of planning and organizing software. I had to take my copy back to the library and definitely wanted to own it.
