I love this book and all NA books. They are so very helpful in understanding what addiction is. It helps you and your loved ones know what is going on. It helps you cope with not relapsing. I have come a long way with this book. It is nice to hear things other people went through so that you know you are not alone and not the only one feeling this way or going through the same problems. I wish I had more books to read about it. I have the basic text book and the 12 steps text book. How and Why It works I believe it's called. I haven't started it yet so I am not completely sure. It's a green book though. Reading these books has helped me saty clean for almost 2 years. 2 years next month. I really would like to read some more. It is unbeliveable how all addicts go through all the same steps and end up the same at the end. I thought I was the only one who went through the problems I had. I thought everyone had a different road they took with a drug addiction but we all of us end up doing the same things and end up in the same place, which is rock bottom. We all take the same steps to get money and to keep our addiction going. The first time I sat down and started to read the basic text I started to cry when I got into where it gets deep because it explained my life to an exact. I am thankful for these books and I hope they make some more for all of us to read. Thank You Very Much!! :)

narcotics anonymous 5th edition is another book that is approved by our higher god and another book that has not given up hope to help another addict in the world until there is no more people wanting to get high unless its getting high off of living life.
